Mary Elizabeth Wallace 95, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away July 30, 2015 at North Metro Medical Center in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was born on June 20, 1920 in Pearisburg, Virginia; and she was the daughter of Clyde Eaton and Sally Ball-Eaton.
Mrs. Wallace had a great passion for bowling, and she would travel all over the state bowling. Mary was of the Baptist faith, and she will be remembered by those around her for her great sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James W. Poff, and a daughter, Emma Sue Hobbs.
Survivors include her daughter Edith Hinkle (Richard) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; a sister Anna Sue Davis of Salem, Virginia; along with nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements will be private and held at a later date, under the direction of Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood.
