Mary Sigman Lee

Mary Sigman Lee, age 85, of Alexander, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1931 in Bonnerdale, the daughter of Odem L. Sigman and Lue Esther McKinley Sigman. On November 21, 1952, she was married to Charles H. Lee who preceded her in death on August 21, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Cecil Sigman, Doyle Sigman and Cleo Sigman. Mary was a graduate of St. Josephs School of Nursing in Hot Springs and was a registered nurse. She retired from the John L. McClelland Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. She was a member of the Geyer Springs Baptist Church and an avid dog lover. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gerald Sigman of Emmett, Idaho, Joyce Schaffer of Portland, Oregon, Peggy Howell of Glenwood, Dennis Sigman of Union City, Tennessee, Linda Robbins of Glenwood, Brenda Lea, Cass Adams and Renee Williams, all of Hot Springs. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 16, 2017, in the Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
