Mary Anita Sedberry, 95, of Little Rock, passed away May 17, 2015. Born April 12, 1920 in Montrose to Claude Carpenter, Sr. and Bessie Harrison Carpenter, Mary was a retired realtor, having managed numerous apartment complexes in Little Rock.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, brother, Claude, Jr., and son, George, she is survived by her son, Jimmy (Bettye, deceased) of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Diane of Benton; four grandchildren, Anita, G. W., Beth and Krissie; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Savannah and Vivian.
The family would like to thank the staff at Foxridge Chenal and the nursing staff at the Coronary Care Unit at CHI St. Vincent for their loving care.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m., at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, officiated by Deacon Jim Dockins.
