Mary Richards

Mary Aileen Richards, 88, went to be with her Lord on September 24, 2015. She was born on August 6, 1927 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Pascal Lewis and Delphia Irene Richards. She lived in Magnolia, Arkansas where she was employed as the Administrative Assistant for the Arkansas Archeological Survey, stationed at Southern Arkansas University. After 28 years of service, she retired to Little Rock. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock at the time of her death. Her favorite scripture was Isaiah 43:1 "Don't be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; you are mine."

Aileen never stopped living life. The life she chose was being a mother, a grandmother and a friend. She found her greatest joy in her loving family, who survive her: son, Doug Rich and his wife, Cinda of Little Rock; grandchildren, Amanda Kella (Andy), Whitney Lammers (Chris), Austin Rich (Kimberly) and Audrey Rich; great-grandchildren, Jack Kella, Davis Kella, Evie Lammers and Allie Lammers; and two brothers, Pat Richards of San Jose, California and Sam Richards of Marque, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock. Rev. Mark Henry and Rev. David Bruns will officiate. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church Imagine Fund or Jo Ann Cayce Charities.

Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (501)224-2200. Aileen's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
