Mary Kathryn Powell (Kaye), 80, died on Saturday, November 19, 2016. She was surrounded by her son, Keith, daughter, Kim, Wendy, Katie and Bo. She was born on July 8, 1936 and was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. She loved keenagers and going to eat lunch with her beloved friends, the "lunch bunch", after church on Sundays. She was employed for many years at the Pulaski County Special School District.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Powell, her parents, Bob and Pearl Mathews, her sister, Dot Puckett, brothers, Bob and Jim Mathews.
She is survived by her son, Keith Powell; daughter, Kim Fisher (Wendy); sister, Sue Parsley; brother, David Mathews (Barbara); granddaughters, Katie Dutton (Bo), Wendi Venable (Brian); grandson, Josh Fisher. She is also survived by a special niece, Linda Stahl.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on November 22nd at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Fox Cemetery in Fox AR. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 Monday, November 21st at the Funeral Home.
