Mary Sue (Crane) Partridge, 77, of Little Rock, died at her home March 30, 2007. She was born May 13, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Partridge, and a grandson, Jesse A. Wickkiser, she is survived by her three children: daughter, Mary L. "Betsy" (Partridge) Hennessy and her husband, John, of Bailey, Colorado; son, Brian M. Partridge, his wife, Vickie, and their four children, Marshall, Charles, Rachel and Leah, all of Little Rock; and son, Dale B. "Hoss" Partridge and his wife, Carol, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She is also survived by her sister, Mary K. (Crane) Kimmell and husband, Jack, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her brother, Charles W. Crane, of Azle, Texas; and many nieces and nephews scattered around the U.S. She also leaves behind her trusted sidekick, Ms. Kitty.
Mary Sue was formerly a travel agent who visited many parts of the world. She also enjoyed reading, art, playing tennis and the numerous convertible cars she drove over the years. She did it "her way".
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 3, at 3:00 p.m., at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 800 Marshall St., Little Rock, AR 72202, or your local Humane Society.
