Mary Needham
Mary Elizabeth Spearmon Needham, 94, of North Little Rock, passed away in Carlisle, Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was born in Carlisle to the late Clarence and Grace Morrison Cameron. She loved her church, First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock and was secretary of the Ambassador Class for many years. Mary loved playing bridge, swimming, and shopping for bargains.
She loved her family and is survived by her daughter, Maribeth Murray of North Little Rock; two granddaughters, Gwen Murray of California and Margaret Murray of Arlington, Virginia; brother, Henry Cameron of North Little Rock; two sisters, Dorothy Henderson of Decatur, Alabama and Grace Ethel Raborn of Carlisle. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Spearmon and Walter Needham; son, Neal Spearmon; and sister, Clarice Weare.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
