Mary Mutton

Mary Evelyn Mutton, 85, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rev. George Mutton.  Survivors include a daughter, J'Laine Bradley (Darrell); granddaughter, Holly Martin (Kevin); grandson, Dylan Bradley (Laura); great-grandson, Tyler Cash Martin. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Etta Jackson; a sister, Veona Hammons; and a brother, Gene Evans.

She and her husband were Pastors of Life Tabernacle for almost 50 years.  She had a great love for Southern Gospel music and was a member of The Spiritualettes and later The Sounds of Life.  The slogan she created for the group was “spreading the gospel in song”.

The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice and all of the wonderful people that cared for her.  Her special girl with Kindred was CNA Tuwan Jordan.  She went above and beyond to make her feel loved and cared for.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 23 at the funeral home.
