Mary Elizabeth Mentzer

Mary Elizabeth Mentzer, formerly of Weirton, West Virginia passed away on October 18, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1921 to the late Charles W. Vaughan and Stella Kries Vaughan.

She was married to the late Edward Mentzer, and was the mother of George Mentzer (Debbie) of Little Rock, Arkansas and the grandmother of Brett (Michelle) Mentzer of Hoover, Alabama and Drew (Katherine) Mentzer of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mary was the loving great grandmother to Cailyn, Thomas, Bryce, Hannah, and Charley Anne. She was blessed with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank the individuals at Arkansas Hospice who gave comfort to Mary on her final days.

A 1:30 p.m. Rosary Service and a 2:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on October 25, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the charity of their choice.
