Mary Maughan Keeton, age 85, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Mary was born on July 5, 1936, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Jessie David Puckett and Arizona Ward Puckett. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and the father of her children, Leon Maughan; her second husband, Roy Keeton; her brother, James Puckett; and her two sons, Bobby Maughan and David Maughan.
She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, going to flea markets, crafting, fishing and watching westerns with Abby. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived her daughter and son-in law, Connie and Steve Aitken, of Jamestown, Kentucky; her daughter-in-law, Melonie Maughan, of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Robert and Charlye Maughan, Ryan and Stephanie Hamilton, Matt and Emily Maughan, Chris and Angela Aitken, Kyle Aitken, Chelcie Maughan, Mitch Maughan; her sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jennetta Sanders and Jessie Mae Ashley; one sister-in-law, Wanda Van; her faithful companion, Abby; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Teddy Frye officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment in the Fouche Loupe Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Maughan, Matt Maughan, Ryan Hamilton, Mike Puckett, Kyle Godwin, Chris Aitken and Steve Ashley.
