Mary Lowe
Mary Louise Hines Lowe, 69 of Sherwood, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006. She was a nursing instructor at UALR and UCA, and was retired from St. Vincent Infirmary Rehab Hospital. She received her R.N. degree from St. Catherine?s College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and her Master?s degree in education from U.C.A.
Mary served on a teaching mission in Columbia, South America. She was also an accomplished ballroom dancer, winning many awards.
Survivors are 1 brother, William Hines (Anita) of Thousand Oaks, California; 1 sister, Rosemary Gardner of North Little Rock; 7 nephews, 3 nieces, and 7 cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lowe, and a brother, Robert Hines.
Memorials may be made to Helping Hand.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Little Rock National Cemetery.
A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
