Mary Edith (Sister) Lewis, 98, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on March 11 2012. She was born April 7th 1913 in Wooster, AR. She was one of nine daughters of the late William Thomas Johnson and Elvira Johnson (maiden name Matchett).

She was a faithful member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Sister Lewis devoted her entire adult life to serving the lord. From passing out tracks to witness to soldiers at train stations in WWII to spending countless hours meeting people in the Levy area and witnessing for the Lord. She taught an adult Sunday school class for over 50 years. Every person who came into contact with Sister Lewis got to know firsthand her desire for everyone to have a personal relationship with the Lord. She was a true soldier in God's army.
