Mary Lianos Karrant, 96, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Hospice Home Care. Mary was the daughter of Greek immigrants, George and Victoria Lianos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Sam John Karrant, and by her sister, Helen Helmich. She is survived by her one son, John Sam Karrant and wife, Karri, of Fort Smith, and by her one daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Karrant Burkett and husband, Don, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Indra Karrant Russell and husband, Tait, of St. Louis, Jonathon Karrant of Las Vegas, Nevada, Morgan Karrant of Little Rock, Donell Burkett and wife, Melissa, of Little Rock, Courtney Kajevski of Little Rock; and five great-grandchildren.

Mary was the oldest living member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Little Rock where she was an active member and an integral part of the Greek Food Festival. She was also a volunteer at Arkansas Children's Hospital where she rocked her babies.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Trisagion/Memorial Prayers will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:30 on Wednesday, July 18 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, followed by burial at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith. Memorials in her honor may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Napa Valley Dr., Little Rock, AR 72211.
