Mary Louise Tanner Jenkins

Mary Louise Tanner Jenkins, age 91, of Malvern, who loved to be called “Momma” by her kids, departed her loving family on Friday, June 3, 2022.

She was born on January 5, 1931, in Little Rock, the daughter of Walter Agee and Lila Kooms Agee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Louis Tanner; one son, Richard Tanner; and four siblings, Linda Agee, Aline Gerst, Frances Green and Ray Agee.

Mary was a mother to five children, that she and her husband, Frank, raised in Mabelvale, with love and devotion to them.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many that will greatly miss her.

She is survived by her four children, Robin Tanner, Mark Tanner, Tina Holden (Tim), and Larry Tanner (Kelly); seven grandchildren, Justin Henderson, Heather Tanner, Brandon Chamblee, Hunter Holden, Seth Holden, Shane Holden and Seth Betts; six great-grandchildren, Keely Hoyt, Harlow Lamb, Asher Lamb, Harper Holden, Sophia Henderson and Aurora Chamblee; five siblings, Margie Treadway, Melba Shipman, David Agee, Betty Archer and Patsy Davidson; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2022, in the Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home Hot Springs.
