Mary Jean Tigue

Mary Jean Tigue, age 55, of Amity, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. She was born on April 23, 1964, in Delight, the daughter of Barney Allen Doles and Grace Lee Nichols Doles. On November 18, 1985, she was married to Edward J. Tigue. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Billy Joe Doles. She was Pentecostal in her faith. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Tigue of Amity; her children, Frankye Tigue of Amity, Janelle Goodwin of Amity, Gene Tigue of Glenwood, George Tigue of Amity, Stephen Tigue of Kirby and James Tigue of Louisiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Barney Lee Doles of Amity; one sister, Bonnie Doles of California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
