Mary House

Mary Lucille (Epperson) House, 92, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born October 16, 1926 to the late William and Josephine Cates. She grew up in England, Arkansas and spent her adult life in North Little Rock. Mary retired from Chicopee Manufacturing as a well-respected employee and loyal friend to many over the years. She then went on to serve as a caregiver. Her life was filled with so much love for her flowers, gardening and her many Saturday shopping trips with Pam. Mary was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Jergins and Pam France, who believe their mom was their angel in life and now will be their angel from Heaven. Mary adored her grandchildren, Nikki Smith, Chris Spradlin (Catherine), Jeff Smith (Courtnie), and Brad Spradlin (Melanie); her great-grandchildren, Justin McMahan, Jarah Goff, Jhase Goff, Taylor Erickson, Delaney Smith, Hudson Smith, Asher Smith, Bradley Spradlin, Landen Spradlin, Phoebe Spradlin and Caden Voss; and a sister, Syble Caple. Mary never had to wish or dream for a playmate. She was blessed with seven siblings. Those preceding her in death were Lillian, James, Eugene “Sam”, Aubrey, Dove, and Chaney. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
