Mary Madonna Hinchey

Mary Madonna Hinchey, 76, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 14, 2023. She was born in Benton, Kentucky, to the late John Leland Edwards Jr. and Wilma Dene Jones. 

Madonna was preceded in death by her brother, John Martin Edwards; her sister, Gwendolyn June Richards; and her daughter, Kimberly Lynn Dill.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Larry Joe Hinchey, and children Donna June McCutcheon of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Christopher (Laura) Terry of Sherwood, Arkansas. Grandchildren Leslie (Jessica) Hughley-Sadler, Blake (Sandi) McCutcheon, Krystal Leigh Morris, Jake (Kristy) Tudor, Blake (Jordan) Tudor, Hannah Jolene Terry, Clementine Loraine Terry, and Lucas Solomon Terry. Great grandchildren Kalyn Tyler Faulkner, Cooper Riley Bredeson, and Beckett James Bredeson. 

Madonna cherished the simple joys of life, finding happiness in family company. Her unwavering presence and genuine enthusiasm made every moment special, creating a treasure trove of memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

A true cornerstone of our family, Madonna dedicated her life to building a foundation of love, support, and unity. Her commitment to family values and the bonds that tie us together was unparalleled. She was the glue that held us during both joyous celebrations and challenging times, providing a steady hand and a compassionate heart to guide us through life's journey.

As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, remember Mary Madonna Hinchey for her profound impact on our lives and the enduring love that will forever bind our family. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107).
