Mary Harris, age 74 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, July 24, 2008, in the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born in Okolona, AR the daughter of Richard and Dicie Spradlin Harrington. She was a housewife, a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, and the widow of Marvin Harris.

Survivors include one son, Gary Harris, and his wife Vicki, of Ashdown, one daughter, Paula Conaway, and her husband Tim, of Little Rock. 4 brothers, Jimmy Harrington of Arkadelphia, Jack Harrington, wife Mona of Magnolia, Richard Harrington, wife Julia of Lonoke, Johnny Harrington, wife Dottie of Louisiana. 5 sisters Margie Johnson of Pennsylvania, Helen Adcock, husband Merlon of California, Sherrell Senn, husband John West Virginia, Wilma Harris, husband Royce of Florida, Linda Spradlin of Arkadelphia, 5 grandchildren; Jason, Jesse & Brandy Harris, Tanner and Hunter Conaway, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Patsy Abernathy.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10 AM in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel under the direction of Rev. Jessica Durand, with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 2301 Crawford Street, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
