Mary Green

Mary F. Cole Jones Green, 84, of Roland, Arkansas passed away at home and went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 21, 2016. She was born June 28, 1931 in Biscoe, Arkansas. Mary was a member of Trinity Assembly of God, Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was a Greeter. She was a member of the Golden Agers and a Hostess for the Home Life Group.
Mary loved to cook, sew, swim and work crossword puzzles. She retired as a bookkeeper for Arkansas Rod and Reel, Little Rock.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Edmond and Arizona Mahan Cole, husbands, Glenn Jones and Major Joseph Green, daughter, Pamela Jones, sisters, Nina Widner, and Jessie Castro and brothers, Grover Cole and L.E. "Dick" Cole.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Patricia Weiner, husband Ira of Alamo, California, Donald Jones, wife Wanda of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Michael "Mike" Jones and wife Kim of Roland, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ben and Alex Weiner, Melanie Jones, Jaron Armstrong and wife Stacee, Josh Jones and wife, Rachel and Erick Jones; one great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Armstrong; and two sisters, Noma Serdin and Virginia Gonzales of Cabot.
The family wishes to thank Elite Home Health Care, Hospice Home Care, especially granddaughter Rachel Jones, caregiver and her church family.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24th at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock 72214. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 25th at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sumner Cemetery.
