Mary Rose Garner, 61, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009. She was a graduate of Mountain Home High School, and a former Miss Mountain Home. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She was a longtime resident of Batesville Arkansas where she was active in the Lyon College Community.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Garner; son, Rob and wife, Whitney Garner, all of North Little Rock; daughter, Kelli and husband Billy Fly, of Knoxville, Tennessee; three very special grandsons, Will and Alex Garner, of North Little Rock and Eliot Fly, of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Jim Parnell, of Greenbrier; and many cherished extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Mildred Parnell; her first husband, Robert Gale Warren; and brother, Leon Parnell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at UAMS for their loving care during her illness.
