Mary E. Harris, 84, of Little Rock, widow of Thomas C. Harris, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007. She was born July 28, 1923 in Rison, Arkansas, the daughter of Ferrell T. and Naomi Hall Manuel and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda K. Harris of Little Rock and Patricia A. Harris of Rogers; her sister, Vivian A. Nutt of Sheridan; grandchildren, Angie Bates and her husband, Chris, of Little Rock and Emily Harris of Nashville, Tennessee; one great-grandson, Austin Bates; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Henry F. Harris; and five brothers.
Visitation will be this evening, Tuesday, November 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. A celebration of Mrs. Harris' life will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 7 at the funeral home, followed by burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
