Mary Olson
Mary Elizabeth Ballard Olson, 91, of Traskwood, went to meet her Lord November 1, 2013. She was born January 27, 1922 in Benton, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith. Mary was a volunteer of the Saline Hospital Auxiliary for over ten years. Mother was blessed with a good life, loved her family, and liked to "go and do."
Mary is survived by son; Ken Burnett, three daughters; Ann Dacus, Carolyn Bullock of Benton, Lynda Parker (Dan) of Texas, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, three brothers; R.A. Rigsby (Marcie) of Lonsdale, Eldon Rigsby of Alabama, Melvin Rigsby of Hot Springs, a number of nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet dog; Holly.
Mary is proceeded in death by her parents; Gaum (Doc) Ballard and Annie Jewel, step-father; William Asa Rigsby, her husbands; Francis Olson and father of her children; Clinton Burnett, five sisters, and five brothers.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12th, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 North Market Street, Benton, AR.
