Mary Elizabeth Watson

Mary Elizabeth Watson, 83, of Beebe, AR went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25^th, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on July 9^th 1940, in Thebes, Illinois to the late Thomas and Susie (Winemiller) Hale.  

She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles, listening to gospel music, drinking hot tea, being involved at the church, and spending time with family and friends.  

Mary Elizabeth Watson is preceded in death by her husband James Oliver Watson, son Jim Watson, and daughter Lori (Watson) Osborne, son-in-law Chuck Fields, her parents Thomas and Susie (Winemiller) Hale and her brothers Thomas, James, Robert, Richard, Norman (Doc), and Dewey Hale. 

She is survived by her daughters Paula (Watson) Fields and Julia Watson; son-in-law Ozzy Osborne; granddaughters Mercedes (Blake) Powell, Tara (Drew) Webb, and Amethyst (Ben) Osborne; her grandsons James (Acacia) Watson, Jacob (Tina) Watson and Dusty (Marlee) Osborne; great grandchildren Dani and Regan Elizabeth Watson and Brighton and Lily Ann-Elizabeth Powell; sister Susan (Hale) Baugher; brothers Larry and Donald Hale; her beloved friend and caretaker Mrs. Betty Foster; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Union Valley Baptist Church.  Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
