Mary Beatrice Bumgardner Cantrell, "Bea", age 91 of Hensley, passed away on September 30, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 6, 1921 in Hensley, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Jodie Nicholas Bumgardner and Willie Wade Bumgardner.

Bea was a cafeteria worker for PCSSD for many years. She was a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and church activities.

She is preceded in death by LeRoy Cantrell, after 52 years of marriage; one son, Robert E. Cantrell of Hensley, and one grandson, Neil Beaumont of Hensley.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn (Arlis) McCullah, Donna (Wayne) Ply, both of Redfield, Arkansas, and Glenda (Bill) Beaumont of Hensley; one son, Charles O. Cantrell of Jonesboro, Louisiana. She leaves a legacy of 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church in Hensley, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. after visitation. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Ico, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or Lone Pine Baptist Church.
