Mary Callaway

Mary Louise Dickson Callaway, age 94 died Saturday, September 16, 2006. She was a native of Arkadelphia, AR former resident of Monroe, LA and currently resided in Covington, La. She was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star (Pueblo, CO), Missouri Pacific Women's Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a retired nurse and a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church where she served on various boards in different capacities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Eugene Callaway, son Dr. Charles Larry Callaway and brother, Howard Dickson.


Survivors include her daughter, Jean Hanson and husband, Harold of Covington, LA; daughter-in-law, Irene Callaway of Grand Rapids, MI; grandsons, Robert Callaway and wife, Amy, Douglas Callaway and wife, Patty, Richard Callaway and wife Diane and John Callaway all of Grand Rapids, MI; five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.


A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, Sept 21, 2006 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia, AR under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
