Mary Buckles

Marylou Elizabeth Buckles, 96, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born December 25, 1921 to the late William and Bessie Sligh. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Uzzell; grandsons, John Uzzell and Stewart (Sarah) Uzzell; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Atwood, Matthew Atwood, Jacob Uzzell, Morgan Uzzell, and Mallory Uzzell; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Andrew Turner; her second husband, Amos Buckles; grandson, William Atwood; and great-grandson, Andrew Atwood. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to Marylou's caregivers: Connie Barton, Tina Pesnia and Corinna Pesnia.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Rockport Cemetery in Malvern. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
