Mary Katherine Bruck

Mary Katherine Redman Bruck, 66 years old, was reunited with her earthly father on his birthday and welcomed home by our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2024. She passed away at UAMS Medical Center.

Mary was born September 22, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James O’Dale Redman and Jamie Margaret Wheeler Redman.

Mary loved to help people. She worked at USABLE Insurance, Arkansas Children's Hospital, NuMotion Wheelchair, and most recently, at Arkansas Beverage Control as an Administrative Specialist II.

Mary was most known among friends as an artist. It was her passion. A passion she shared with those around her. From hand-painting a princess castle on a 6-year-old girl’s bedroom wall to creating a beautiful floral arrangement in a blushing bride’s wedding. For many of her friends, there is not one corner of their homes or one corner of their lives, left untouched by her.

Mary is survived by  her husband, Joey Bruck; her two sisters, Lee Ann Redman King (Joe) and Brenda Kay Redman Pledger (David); While Mary had no children of her own, she will be remembered and cherished forever by her nephew, Gregory Lane King (Kathyn); and 3 Godchildren, Rachel Warner, Jacob Price, and Savannah Price.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Jamie Margaret Wheeler Redman; her father, James O’Dale Redman; and her grandparents, General Jackson Wheeler, ViLena Benson Wheeler, Emma Wesley Redman, and James Oscar Redman. 

Mary was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 25799 I -30, Bryant, AR 72022, where her Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Saline County Humane Society.
