Mary Lou Brown

May 18, 1943 — March 6, 2022

Mary Lou Brown, 78, of North Little Rock joined the angels in heaven Sunday, March 6, 2022. She was born May 18, 1943, in El Paso, Arkansas to the late J. Bedford Stone and Macil Taylor Stone.

She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Brown, Becky Brown both of North Little Rock, Kimberley Pitchford (Jimmy) of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Faith Ann Brown Morris, of Beebe; grandchildren, Susan Chaney (Joseph Gault), Jarrett Pitchford (Jesslynn), Kristy Cockrum and Brittany Medina; beloved sisters, Barbara Scott (Pete) and Wanda Simmons (Jimmie); and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Although she fought a long hard battle of Alzheimer’s and Rheumatoid Arthritis, Mary Lou was a loving, selfless, giving, and charmingly cute southern angel with the biggest heart.  As an excellent cook she loved to entertain and cook for everyone who crossed the threshold.  She had a big heart for those in need and would ask for everyone to perform an act of kindness to others.

A celebratory visitation will be Friday, March 11 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm with a Tribute at 5:30. In her own words, “Much Love and C’mon baby let the good times roll!”
