Mary Brazeale

Mary Doris Shaddock Brazeale age 96 of Sparkman died Sunday, October 4, 2015, She was born June 14, 1919 the daughter of John B. and Inis Shirron Shaddock. She and her late husband, Homer L. Brazeale, owned and operated Brazeale Lumber Company from 1955 till 1976. She was supervisor in the Sparkman school cafeteria, worked at The Food Place grocery for many years, an avid gardener and was a member of the Sparkman United Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson-in-law, Rick McCauley.

Survivors include one son, Homer Gene ( Wilda Sue) Brazeale of Sparkman, one daughter, Allene Swan of Counce, TN, three grandchildren, David (Glenda) Brazeale, Teresa McCauley and Rebecca (Johnny) Grooms, three great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 Thursday, October 8th in the Sparkman United Methodist Church with Bob Langley and Travis Langley officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
