Mary "Louise" Abernathy, 77, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born January 20, 1937 at Ravenden, Arkansas and she died Friday, April 04, 2014. She loved cooking, crafting, fishing and gardening with friends and family.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Huett; her husband, John Abernathy; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by five sisters; her children, Deborah Mills of Beebe, Susi Abernathy of North Little Rock, J.J. Abernathy of Sherwood, Cassie Gemes of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Sean Mills, Brian Mills, Meghan Muehlstein, Lee Chambers, Jacob Ralston and Ethan Abernathy; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
