Marvin H. Tims, 76, of Bismarck died Monday, October 29, 2007 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was born November 17, 1930 in Bismarck, the son of Harrison P. and Hazel Kinnaird Tims. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, was a building contractor and member of the Bismarck United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Tims; a son Bart Tims of Bismarck; two daughters, Sheila Bird of Sheridan, and Sheena Garner of Bryant; a brother, Coy D. Tims of Bismarck; and a sister, Jean Thornton of Bismarck; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, Arkadelphia. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Bismarck United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Gail Baldwin officiating. Burial will be at Mt Olive Cemetery, Oden, AR.
