Marvin McWhorter

Marvin Joe McWhorter Sr. of Camden, TN, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the age of 77 years and 9 months. Marvin was a contractor. He enjoyed flying his airplanes, playing poker and eating desserts. Most of all Marvin loved his family and the time he spent with them.
Marvin was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Green, step father Joe Green, brother Darrell Green and great grand-daughter Kandas Anderson.
He is survived by a loving wife of 60 years, Laralee McWhorter, six children: Deborah Everidge of Reno, NV, Diana and John Stull of Martinez, CA, Cindy and Bob Miller of Sharon, TN, Marvin Joe McWhorter Jr. of Camden, TN, Paula and Don Rowlett of Weatherford, TX, Lori and Mark Garber of Camden, TN; brother Earl McWhorter and wife Bonnie of Jacksonville, AR, sister Dorothy Ramos of Yountville, CA. 25 grand- children, 58 great grand-children, 3 great great-grand-children, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held December 17, 2016 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, Arkansas, followed by a reception. Please come and join his six children family and friends to celebrate his life.
