Rev. Marvin Lynn Gober, 73, passed away September 11, 2014. He was born in Star City to Marvin and Mattie Linzy Gober.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his son, Michael L. Gober (Rhonda) of Wye Mountain; daughter, Teresa Munoz (Phillip) of Cabot; grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Breka) of Bryant, Jennifer Howard (Jon) and Britni Smith (Chase Barnes) of Benton; Mary Rose Gober of Wye Mountain; and great-grandchildren, Scarlett Bridges, Colten Howard, Aubrie Barnes and Paxton Barnes.
Graveside services will be Friday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Drake Cemetery in Star City, officiated by Pastor Bobby Lamb.
