Marvin J. Campbell, 78, of North Little Rock departed this life, Tuesday, September 29, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was born February 21, 1931 in Monroe County, Arkansas to Charles and Alma Doyle Campbell and was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He retired from Chicopee after 35 years and proudly served his country in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Wilkes Campbell; two daughters, Julia Campbell, of Sherwood and Angela White (Terry) of Maumelle; two sons, Douglas Campbell (Sherrye) of North Little Rock and James Campbell, of Iraq; and eight grandchildren, Magen Price, LaceAnn, Alicyn, Rachael, James and Stacy Campbell and Brock and Aubrie White.
His granddaughter, Magen, took care of him in his final days. The family would like to thank Baptist Hospice, and a special thanks to Peggy Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
