Martin Green
Martin "Punk" Green age 88 of the Joan Community near Arkadelphia, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 in the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born July 19, 1918 in Clark County, the son of the late Jess and Viola Thompson Green.
He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and a retired farmer. He resided in the Joan Community until April 1993 at which time he became a resident of Beverly Healthcare Nursing Home. Two sisters, Lillian Green and Zelma Kelly, two brothers, Clint Green and his twin brother, Marcus "Chink" Green preceded him in death.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Joan with E. B. Green officiating.
Pallbearers are William Green, George Gentry, Johnny Conzel, Allen Efird, Marvin Fite, James Daniels, and Robert Wingfield.
Visitation will be 1:45 PM until service time at the cemetery.
