Martha "Sue" Grady

Martha Sue Grady, 79, of Lonoke, Arkansas went to be with the Lord December 16, 2019.  She was born January 16, 1940 in Lonoke to Lloyd Thomas and Gladys May Hensley Adams.

Sue was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She retired from Food for Less as the bakery manager, and was a member of the Woodlawn Senior Citizens Center.

Sue was a wonderful mother, granny, sister, aunt and friend to many.  She loved and guided all of us along the way.  Her grandchildren were her biggest joy and she was so proud of them.  She always encouraged hard work, independence and success.  She loved the Lord and her church.  Sue will be missed by many but would want us all to be strong and take care of each other.

Sue is survived by two daughters, Vicky (Bill) Keck of Cabot and Linda Sadler of Lonoke; two granddaughters, Taylor Davis of Benton, and Jessica Sanders of Lonoke; three grandsons, Garrett Davis of Cabot, Christopher Keck and Brandon Keck, both of Austin; brothers and sisters, Gladys Williams of Lonoke, Tom Adams of Lonoke, Pat Glass of Little Rock, Jerry Adams of Lonoke, Bill Adams of Lonoke, Barbara Ann McFarland of Memphis, and Mike Adams of Lonoke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Lloyd Adams, Jr., Raymond Adams and Bobby Adams.

Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2019, at New Hope Baptist Church, with burial in Brownsville Cemetery.  Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.  www.smithfamilycares.com
