Martha "Mimi" Shelton

Martha “Mimi” Ann Shelton, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with her savior on December 28, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 5, 1945 to Rudolph and Gertrude Zorn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathryn Ann Beck; and a brother, Christopher Zorn.

Mimi is survived by her children, Shannon (Joe) Chivers, Wendy (Johnny) Bowen and Todd (Barbara) Roehrenbeck; siblings, Robert Zorn, Richard Zorn, Marybeth (Sam) DeWitt; grandchildren, Thomas Beck, Justin Abbott, Charlie Thomas, Lindsey (Kyle) Fricks, Johnny Jr. (Bianca) Bowen, and Brianna (Drew) Bowen; great-grandchildren, Parker, Macey, Luke, Aden, Jayce, Grayson and Owen.

She was a nurse for 35 years and loved every minute of her job. The beach was her safe haven and gave her great joy and peace. Mimi’s greatest loves were her all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and animals. There wasn’t an animal that didn’t steal her heart. Her faith and family were her strength throughout each season of her life. She will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or the Pulaski County Humane Society.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 31, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 2:00 PM and a Life Celebration will begin at 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
