Martha Sue Webb, 88, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was born in Hermitage, Arkansas on August 7, 1925 to Dr. Wylie and Mittie (Wood) Roark. She was the widow of Dr. Charles J. Watkins, Sr. and Harold A. Webb of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The youngest of five children, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vada Noggle (Elbert), Varniece Warren (Otis) and Agnes Huneycutt (N.D.); and brother, Walter N. Roark and wife, Katie of Greenville, South Carolina.

After graduating from Hermitage High School she received an R.N. Degree from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, before coming to Little Rock. She was a longtime member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and an active member of Dietz Dialogue Sunday School Class. She was a Charter member of Bas Bleu and held many offices. She also was a member of the Little Rock Centennial Chapter of D.A.R., Samuel Cherry Chapter of the Daughters of Arkansas Pioneer Colonies, The Salvation Army Auxiliary and lifetime member of the St. Vincent Auxiliary. She volunteered at St. Vincent New Outlook ever since that department was created and received the Volunteer of the Year Award. She was the last original member of the Bridge Club that started on Waverly Street in 1952 and still plays weekly. She enjoyed other Bridge Clubs, her Birthday Club, and her "Lunch Bunch".

Survivors include her son, Dr. Charles Watkins and his wife, Terri of Little Rock; her daughter, Patricia Wilkes and her husband, Dr. David Wilkes of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Jenny Rebecca Wilkes of Little Rock and Rachel Kathryn Wilkes of Dallas, Texas; step-son, David Webb and his wife, Margaret and grandson, Andrew Webb, all of Baton Rouge. She was very proud of all her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30th at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29th from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn, Little Rock, AR 72205 or to a charity of one's choice.
