Martha Holladay Sakevicius, 87, of Little Rock, passed away July 28, 2015. She was born in Montevista, Mississippi to Walter and Willie Tharp Golden and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a retired Dietary Supervisor at UAMS and also retired from Burlington Coat Factory.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Holladay and wife, Deborah of Little Rock and Larry Holladay of Mabelvale; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Elmer Holladay and Joe Sakevicius; son, Darrell Holladay; daughter, Patricia Ford; brothers, Buford Golden (Clytee), Hugh Golden and Carlton Golden; sister, Elsie Billingsley; granddaughter, Kimberly Holladay; and grandson, Shawn Ford.
Special thanks to the Open Door Bible Class whom she cherished dearly and they her. And, thank you to Mark and Esther Baldwin for their loving care of our mother.
Visitation will be Friday, July 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, 1807 East Dixon Rd., Sweet Home, AR, officiated by Dr. Gary Hollingsworth.
