Martha Moran

Martha Loraine (Elliott) Moran, born August 6th, 1934 in Malvern, AR died June 2nd, 2016 in Cabot after a long courageous battle with cancer. She married Johnny Moran on September 8th, 1958. She retired from banking and the credit union after many years of service. She loved family and friends and time spent visiting with one another. Loraine was a devout Christian and member of the Mt Carmel Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Stephen Frank Elliott and Grace (Childers) Elliott; and her husband John Raymond Moran, SR.

She is survived by her children John Raymond Moran JR and his wife Anita, Janet Renee (Moran) Morden and her husband Bobby; Her Grandchildren Hayley Danielle (Moran) Beck and her husband Michael, Tyler Lane Moran, Shane C Morden and his wife Heather; Her Great Grandchildren Laila Sophia Beck, McKinley Claire Morden, Gage Sumner Morden; one brother, Paul D Elliott from Donaldson Arkansas; A special young friend, Logan Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as a host of many friends, several who called her "Mom".

Visitation will be 10:00AM, Saturday, June 4th at Mt Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas with Funeral Services immediately following at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Funeral Services are being provided by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, AR. Memorials can be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund c/o Randy Hicks - 160 McCullum Rd, Austin, AR; the Kingdom Seekers Sunday School Class c/o Mt Carmel Baptist Church; and the American Cancer Society.
