Martha J. Johnston

Martha J. Johnston, age 81, of Norman, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022.

She was born on October 4, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Francis Jacob Osborn and Dortha Mae Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Martha loved to care for her chickens, collect gemstones, and knit. She was always working on her “crafty work” and there was not a word puzzle she could not solve. Martha was an Army Veteran. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Martha is survived by her two brothers, Jon Osborn and William “B.J.” Osborn, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; her niece, Libby Cowman of Norman; her nephew, Eddie Osborn of Noblesville, Indiana; her great-nephew, Jimmy Cowman of Anderson, Indiana; her great-niece, Kayla Osborn of Noblesville, Indiana; and her special family-friend, Donald Stewart of Norman.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.
