Martha Holland
Martha Alice Ford Holland went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 11, 2012, at the age of 82. She was born in Crossett, Arkansas, on July 14, 1929, and was a graduate of Hamburg High School and of The University of Arkansas at Monticello.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert R. "Hub" Holland; her parents, Fred and Pauline Dunn Ford; and her brother, Rutledge Ford. Martha is survived by her son, Russ Holland, of Dallas; her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Eddie Caldwell of Dallas; her grandchildren, Josh, Courtney and Ryan Caldwell, also of Dallas; her brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Pat Ford, of Sulphur Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a long-time member of Second Baptist Church and Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock, and was a retiree of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives. The family would like to thank her physician, Dr. William Downs, and her caregiver, Jacki Roberts, for their loving care during the past few years.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, at 12:30 p.m. at the Huson Funeral Home, 6400 Mabelvale Pike, with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. www.husonfuneralhome.com
