Martha Ann Green, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on September 22, 1945, in Humphrey, Arkansas to the late Charles Ellis Woodward and Amber Woodward. Martha was a woman whose life revolved around a great love for her family and the joy she found in creating a warm, nurturing home.

Martha’s dedication to her family was evident in everything she did. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her loved ones, putting others first, and ensuring that each day was filled with love and support. She was known for her kindness, warmth, unwavering commitment to those she held dear, and faith in the Lord.

Known as Memom to her family, Martha will also be remembered for her fun-spirited side. She often enjoyed playing board, card, and video games much to her grandchildren’s delight. She loved to bowl in her younger years and was a proud member of her local league. Memom’s ability to find happiness and enjoyment in the simple things in life carries on with everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Green; her children, Kim Wells (Carey), Allen Green (Sherry), Ronnie Green, and Chad Green (Amy); eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends who will remember her fondly and hold onto the countless memories they shared.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Marvel Mashburn, Margaret Morgan, Sherrye Shipp, Benny Woodward, and Ollie May Woodward.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Shipp, Greg Woodward, Paul Kelley, Charlie Welch, Clint Mears, and Dalton Hartwick.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Martha Ann Green’s legacy of love and care will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
