Fagan, Martha Valrie (Johnson), age 80, of Conway, AR, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. She graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1962. A private celebration of life will be announced later. Please contact a family member for the date if you are interested in attending.
Martha is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles (Bill) Fagan, and two sons, Tony Fagan (wife Donna Fagan) and Mark Fagan (wife Torrie Fagan). She is also survived by three grandchildren, CJ Fagan (wife Mehrosh Fagan), Caleb Fagan (wife McKenzie Fagan), and Wynter Fagan, as well as two great-granddaughters, Kylie Fagan and Peyton Fagan. Martha is also survived by her sister, Mary Wilson, and brother, Jimmy Johnson, along with many friends, cousins, and in-laws whom she loved dearly.
Martha was born in Miami, Florida, on 11/10/1943, to James (Mid) and Valrie Johnson. She earned her real estate license while living in Lutz, Florida, and worked for Mario-Polo Realty, Inc. She cherished this accomplishment in her life and was a successful agent for several years in the Tampa area.
After returning home to Arkansas to be close to her aging parents, she started a new career that would be her lasting legacy and true love. She became a stay-at-home grandmother/caretaker for the young and elderly in our family. She particularly enjoyed attending any extracurricular event that her grandchildren or great-grandchildren were involved in. She was their most enthusiastic cheerleader, always ready to offer a helping hand. Whether it was providing food or a shoulder to cry on, taking care of aging loved ones, or raising her grandchildren, she gave all she had. She was everyone's biggest cheerleader and the backbone of our family. She loved much and was much loved. One of her favorite songs was 'The Old Rugged Cross,' and she was the epitome of the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. This world will surely be a little dimmer with her being in paradise.
