Martha Dawson

Martha Lee Dawson, 77, of Sherwood passed away May 23, 2016. She was born July 31, 1938 in Logan County, Arkansas to the late Lee H. and Geneva Sory Yarbrough. She was a loyal 27 year Civil Servant and a member of Sylvan Hills Community Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Debra Dawson and Richard and Ibis Dawson; five grandchildren, Amber Brown (Travis), Andrew Dawson, Nicole Dawson, Harrison Dawson and Logan Dawson; two great-grandchildren, Alix and Jude Brown; two siblings, Loretta Sansom and James Yarbrough; and her "adopted" family, Janelle Journey and her children Chad, Sean, Amanda and Derek Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy F. Dawson.
Memorials may be made to Sylvan Hills Community Church, 8019 AR 107, Sherwood, AR 72120.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
