Marldene Thomas Covington, 84, retired dairy farmer of Austin, Arkansas, was called home by the Lord, Saturday, September 5, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Buddy Covington; a son, James Covington and a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Hazel) Quattlebaum.

Marldene is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lois and David Rick of Austin, son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Phyllis Covington of Austin, daughter and son-in-law, Melba and Dewey Higgs of Austin; ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; ten great, great, grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Patricia Covington Johnson; twin sister, Marlene Free; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
