Mark Traffanstedt

Mark Christopher Traffanstedt, 34, born January 21, 1987 in North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his home in Sherwood.

Mark was born and raised in Sherwood and graduated from North Little Rock High School International Baccalaureate Program where he played varsity football.  After graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his son, Zach playing video games, attending Boy Scout outings, watching Zach play soccer, and playing with their dog, Leonidas.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.C. and Helen Traffanstedt of Little Rock, and Earl Brown of Sherwood.

He is survived by son, Zach (his pride and joy) of Sherwood; his mother, Cheryle Coleman (Alex); father, Andy Traffanstedt (Sherrie) of Sherwood; twin brother, Steven Traffanstedt (Kelly) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brother, Patrick Coleman (Alison) of Sherwood; grandmother, Nancy Brown of Sherwood; niece, Audrey Traffanstedt, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with rosary starting at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7000 John F Kennedy Blvd) on Thursday, July 22,
