Mark Hall Hoth, 64, of Little Rock, passed away April 8, 2012. Born in Oelwein, Iowa to Victor John and Rose Hall Hoth, he was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mark was a graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High and Wartburg College and worked as a medical technician, eventually moving into medical sales. He retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2010 after 25 years of service. Mark was an avid golfer and devoted friend. He thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and had a smile that lit up a room!
Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheryl Strayer Hoth; daughters, Jennifer Knight (Tom), Amy Warriner (Paul) and Carrie McElfresh (Dan); mother, Rose Hall Hoth; brother, Richard Hoth; sister, Barbara Antoniou (Tim); grandchildren, Spencer Knight, Miriam Knight, Evan Warriner and Hannah McElfresh; nephew and Godson, Taylor Hoth; nieces, Elizabeth, Victoria and Katherine Antoniou; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Strayer; brother-in-law, Robert Strayer; sister-in-law, Patricia Clark and nephew, Scott Clark.
Services will be held on Friday, April 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Carl Hoffman. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
