Mark Hathaway

Mark L. Hathaway, 73, passed away from this life on September 19, 2021. Mark enlisted in the United State Marine Corp in 1966. He served for three years, including two tours in Vietnam.  Where he earned many medals including, a Purple Heart which is a solemn distinction and means a service member has greatly sacrificed themselves, or paid the ultimate price, while in the line of duty. In Mark’s later years he enjoyed golfing and watching any sports or activities his grandchildren enjoyed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Diane Hathaway; his children, Brooke Melvin (Josh) and Aaron Hathaway; grandchildren, Noah Hathaway, Abigail Hathaway, Jackson Melvin, and Emmalynn Melvin; and a host of other close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Janice Hathaway; and siblings, Mack and Mike Hathaway.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice. At 14 Parkside Circle North Little Rock 72116.
