Mark Avery

Mark D. Avery, 51, of Little Rock passed away January 18, 2020. He was born August 30, 1968 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a Senior Auditor for Arkansas Legislative Audit for over 20 years. He loved his family more than anything and his life’s story was of unconditional love and service for everyone he met.

Mark is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kimberly Avery; daughters, Claire and Kristen Avery; mother, Dedette Andree (James) Sullivan; siblings, Michael (Teresa) Avery and Steve (Kay) Avery; nephew, Nic Avery (Courtney) and his daughter, Adriana; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo A. Avery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Simmons Bank where a Memorial Education Fund has been established for his daughters.

A visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 13901 Quail Run Drive, Little Rock.
